AGRF has been rebranded to Africa Food System Forum to reflect the partnership’s ambition for food system transformation.

Under Kofi Annan's influential leadership, the AGRF relocated to Africa under AGRA, signifying a commitment to engage African stakeholders in driving agricultural transformation. Since 2010, the annual AGRF Summit has been convened in different African regions, gathering Heads of State, Ministers, business leaders, development partners, farmers, youth, and more. With evolving themes, they collaborate to identify actionable measures and policies for advancing the continental agenda. The AGRF remains a pivotal platform for propelling Africa's agricultural sector.
