The Africa Food Systems Forum 2023 Launch will be held on March 17 2023 as the premier drumbeat event towards the Africa Food Systems Forum 2023 in September. The event will be a hybrid event with a broadcast element and a small gathering In-Person event via invitation.
This year’s summit is anchored around building Africa’s Food Systems and Food Sovereignty with the youth and women at the center. The summit will launch the theme of this year’s summit. It will call for re-energized commitment and a renewed sense of energy in the food systems conversation with a focus on regenerating interest in Agriculture as a means of wealth creation for the continent
In addition, the Summit launch is expected to:
- To build momentum towards the Africa Food Systems Forum 2023 – showcasing what the AGRF and Tanzania can bring to the continent and dialogue on food systems transformation
- Give visibility on the hosting of the Government of Tanzania and kick off the AGRF 2023
- Mobilise media partners, speakers, and delegates’ participation in the AGRF 2023
- Open participation for partners and sponsors to the AGRF 2023
