Agribusiness Deal Room for Government

The Agribusiness Deal Room will also provide public institutions with the opportunity to promote countries as investment destinations and showcase specific agricultural investment opportunities.

Governments pitching opportunities in the country session

Each country is awarded a 1 hour slot in the Deal Room to present investment opportunities to circa 50 participants. Sessions usually consist of the following sections:

  • A short generic session on your country as an investment destination
  • A deeper dive into specific value chain and investment opportunities
  • Case studies of successful investments
  • A question and answer section

Bilateral sessions and round tables with investors

Country delegations will also have access to a bilateral room to engage directly with investors.

Most country delegations engage in an in-country preparation process, supported by multiple stakeholders from the private and public sector prior to attending the deal room. Country delegations are encouraged to include existing investors and national corporate leaders in their delegation to  strengthen their presentation.
